Verizon/MCI Worldcom
The pedophiles had a very large base of operations, a full-fledged web-host, based in Montreal, Canada called Epifora. They were receiving upstream from MCI Worldcom, which had been absorbed by Verizon. They had received this upstream for the better part of six years and had survived initial attacks launched by Canadian anti-pedophile associations.
We emailed Verizon on September 28th, 2006.
They responded to the matter very quickly, early on October 5th, 2006.
Verizon then pulled the rug out from under Epifora by terminating the pedophiles secure base of operations in Montreal. Over 36 pedophile websites and organizations immediately blinked off-line. While most of those have found alternative hosting out of Russia (after we knocked out their hosts in Sweden and Chicago, Illinois), they are paying increased rates for decreased service, service that is insecure and not handled in-house by other pedophiles, as it was with Epifora.
Their ability to maintain their own internet presence has been reduced dramatically by Verizon's proper choice to pull the upstream these child-rape advocates were using.

Hello Verizon,
I'm the director of a large media/law enforcement advocacy organization. For the better part of 2006, I've been delving into organizations and corporations that support the online pedophilia movement. For all the research I have done in regards to this story, all roads lead back to MCI/Verizon. Your corporation provides the upstream bandwidth to a webhosting company called "Epifora Inc." Epifora is based out of Montreal, Canada. Epifora exclusively hosts pedophile websites and organizations. It hosts dozens upon dozens of them. Each of these websites, each of them, include general and specific advocacy and solicitations to molest children.
Epifora, who buys access from your conglomeration in Canada (From Metrix Interlink, a front company for Worldcom Canada), goes a step further than just hosting these websites. We have in the course of our investigation rolled up address after address of places where pedophiles solicit and collect contributions from other pedophiles to support their services. Now, Epifora's mailing address is the new monetary drop-off point for donations to pedophile organizations and the leaders of the modern pedophilia advocacy movement. For example it is the drop-off point for monetary donations to the organizers of boychat.org. Please, feel free to visit http://www.boychat.org to check out the contents of that website. It is just one of dozens that organize and get their "message" of molestation out via your services.
Each day over your networks thousands upon thousands of emails, public message board writings and photographs transfer. This data ranges from pedophiles linking the pictures of unsuspecting children amongst each other to outright calls for the support of those facing criminal charges to open advocacy of child molestation and rape. It is the largest and most vast network of pedophiles online, all hosted by Epifora, all whom reach the internet via your services.
In Canada, prior to your takeover of Worldcom, a report was done by a Canadian news service (The Canadian National Post, 2001) that featured the head of Worldcom Canada in the following blurb: "/But WorldCom Canada Ltd. says Ontario police have told the company the sites for boy lovers are not illegal, and the company is loathe to pass judgment on a lawful operation. The sites are actually hosted by another company, Epifora Inc., but Epifora buys access to the Internet from WorldCom. "We don't approve or condone the content but ... it isn't for me to play judge, jury and advocate," said Tal Bevan, president of WorldCom Canada. "Where do I draw the line next time? If you were a non-smoker and I was hosting a smoking site and you had an issue because of the impact on cancer, I would be faced with the same thing./"
It has been five years since that small story. I hope that one of you three can answer my list of questions regarding the story I'm currently putting together. Thanks in advance:
1. Do you feel that it is appropriate to compare the contents of websites hosted on Epifora.com to smoking, as Tal Bevan did in 2001?
2. Does your company feel that the advocacy of pedophilia is not advocating an illicit behavior, something which would violate 99% of corporate terms of service agreements?
3. Do you have anything to say to those on the internet, from mothers to fathers to grandparents, who have hosted pictures of their children online which then were used by pedophiles to sexually arouse and please themselves on services you provide?
4. If the content on the dozens and dozens of the websites Epifora Inc hosts does not violate Verizon's TOS for webhosts, what exactly would? If not the advocacy of child rape, what would constitute a removal-level violation from your Worldcom Canada services?
5. As an umbrella corporation, can you supply me with a list of companies you own or point me in the direction of a resource that would list out all of Verizon's interests across the United States and Canada?
I'm hoping to publish the results of my story by Saturday afternoon, a day after another one of our "To Catch a Predator" specials airs on Dateline NBC. If I do not receive contact back from anyone at Verizon by that time, I'll have to note that your company has declined to comment on the details of our investigation.
Thanks in advance,
Xavier Von Erck
